Updates that have been made this month on the NineToFiveSports.Com website.
Updates include - NFL DFS Cheat Sheet, NFL Prop Tools for Traditional Sportsbooks, added more prop lines for all Prop Tools, Updated NFL DFS Lineup Optimizer How to video, and NFL Snap Counts.
At the bottom of this blog post I will touch on some updates that will likely be made over the next month as well.
I am constantly updating tools to enhance your fantasy sports research capabilities. This ongoing effort is a daily, weekly, and monthly practice. In light of these updates, I aim to keep you informed about the changes that have been implemented and those that are currently in progress.
This will be a monthly write-up covering those updates.
Update #1 - NFL DFS Cheat Sheet Updated / Added
I have updated the NFL DFS Cheat Sheet from last year's version to a version this year that can handle more data. In the screenshot above you will see the snapshot of why someone is a good play or a bad play that week. If you click on the player and scroll down to the bottom of the page you will see a more detailed data breakdown of why or why not someone is a good play.
Please note, at the bottom right-hand corner of the NFL DFS Cheat Sheet you will see the zoom-in and zoom-out slider. If you would like to zoom in or zoom out on the data use this slider. (Anyone who is viewing the cheat sheet or any tools with a mobile device should do this.)
This Tool Updates Tuesday-Monday.
Ownership Projections will be updated on change, and daily.
Fantasy Projections are calculated in multiple ways, one way is by using Vegas Projections based on their Player Prop lines. Most Player Prop lines are made available 2 days before the game(s) start time. The more prop lines the better the projections will be. (Do not make any final conclusions until game day)
Inside of the NFL DFS Cheat Sheet you will see - Game Lines, Snap Counts, Depth Charts, Stacks, Ownership Leverage, Player Props, and Injuries. These are all explained in the video above.
Update #2 - NFL Player Props - Traditional Sportsbooks
I have included a feature in the NFL DFS Cheat Sheet that allows us to see the edges we are gaining on Traditional Sportsbooks like DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, HardRockBet, ESPNBet, and others.
Player Props How to Timestamped
Sportsbook Edge
Because Traditional Sportsbooks include a markup known as "Juice", it's uncommon for us to find an advantage in odds comparison. However, when we do, it's a significant edge. The tool is set to prioritize sorting by this advantage.
Projected Edge
Another way you can view the data is by Projected Edge. This will be taking the projected line vs the sportsbooks line to see if we are getting an edge.
Find the best odds for an edge you like.
Last Monday I thought Tee Higgins would not have a big game, and I wanted to see which Sportsbooks would give us the best lines on his Under Receiving Yards. This is another good way to go about using the tool. To find the best odds or lines on a bet that you like.
Update #3 - Refresher, and a Simple Way to Use the NFL DFS Lineup Optimizer + Showdown Slate Coverage
In the video I touch on how I have been able to use the Lineup Builder to win 3 Showdown GPPs this year as well as show you the practice way most of you will try to use this tool.
Getting the Exposures You Want - Main Slate / Normal Slate
Click on the Settings Tab
Set "Flex Ineligible" to TE
Max Exposure to 10%
Then go through each individual player you want to be on more than 10% and set their max exposure to whatever you desire. Do this by double-clicking on the "Max Esp" column
My Showdown GPP Winning Strategy
Global Max Exposure of 65%
In Settings Tab - Player Group - Exactly one Flex of a DST, or Kicker from either team in all of my builds.
Note I will typically set the Kickers Max Exposure to 40% each, and the DST to 20% each.
From there each slate is created differently, some slates we have good value, where I want to spread out my captain shares, some slates we have 3 studs who I only want to get to.
Update #4 - Added in Player Prop Lines
I have added in more prop lines to use on both the new "Player Props" Tab, as well as the PrizePicks and Underdog Cheat Sheets. Below are all the added in lines.
Sacks
Solo Tackles
Longest Reception
Longest Rush
PATs (XP Made)
Longest Pass
FGs Made
Pass+Rush Yards
Rush+Rec Yards
Rush+Rec TDs
